Friends of the Foundation Benefit for SLPCF

Join us for a fundraiser to benefit the St. Louis Park Community Foundation (SLPCF). The SLPCF funds projects within the city of St. Louis Park, acting as an umbrella foundation for organizations like STEP, Meadowbrook Collaborative, Children First and many other nonprofits. SLPCF has granted more than $250,000 for projects in our city. This event is 21+ and advanced reservations are required as seating is very limited. Dad Dash 5K Fun Run/Walk/Roll
NEW Saturday, June 15: 8 am
Run for or with your dad! Join us for a family friendly 5K and the kids "Almost a Mile" run/walk. Both courses travel along paved trails before finishing in Wolfe Park. 5K participants receive a technical running shirt and goodie bag. Proceeds from the event benefit St. Louis Park Flyers Track and Field Club, our sponsors. The kids "Almost a Mile" starts at 7:45am, the 5K at 8am Register for Dad Dash and/or Almost-a-Mile online or the day of race, by 7:30am. $20 in advance, $25 day of race. Almost-a-Mile is $5
Ladies can sign up for a six week training class for ladies on Thursday nights starting April 25. Sign up for Ladies "Ease into" 5K online for and your registration includes a FREE entry into the Dad Dash event. 18+ $45

NEW and returning inflatable attractions make for wet and wild fun for all ages, kids, teens, and adults! NEW this year, the Hippo Slide is the largest inflatable waterslide in the world! Get a wrist band for $15 for unlimited rides on all waterslide and inflatable attractions. Also new this year is Tiki Island, a huge combination inflatable with slides, obstacles, and more! We will also have returning favorites - like Water Wars, Adrenaline Rush Obstacle Course, Spinning Berry and the Hi-Striker Game, plus smaller slides and bouncers for the little ones. A big favorite, the Eurobungy is back, an amp-ed up trampoline of sorts. New hours from 2pm - 8pm make for 6 hours of wet and wild fun at Parktacular! Parktacular Miniature Art Treasure Hunt
Awards Saturday, June 15: 4:30 pm
The Parktacular Art hunt is back! On May 30, 2013 ten original artworks will be hidden in the public parks of St. Louis Park and you are invited to find them. Each winner gets to keep the art and win a prize, awarded at the Parktacular event. To find visual photo clues, updates and photo of the hunt visit the artist's website, www.williamhessian.com. The artwork is hidden in plain sight, but finding hidden art is not as easy as it might sound as the miniature paintings are only 1 inch by 1 inch. NEW this year, the artist will have an interactive Meet and Greet booth in the Kidtacular area. Meet William and paint with him, and pick up expert artist tips and tidbits.
