Parktacular Festival Goes Low Waste
Parktacular strives to be a low waste event and in order to meet this goal we need participation from the event attendees! We will have sorting stations located throughout the event giving opportunities to sort recycling, organics and trash.
Items used by food trucks to serve customers (cups, plates, bowls, food boats, etc.) must be recyclable or compostable. This year all utensils and straws are also compostable and can be put in the organics bin.
At the event you can:
- Reduce your own waste generation by bringing your own reusable water bottle and utensils
- Recycle empty cans, bottles and juice boxes
- Compost certified compostable cups, plates, bowls, food boats, straws, utensils, napkins
Please help us by being mindful of where you place your waste, paying attention to signs and asking for help if you are unsure where something belongs. Thank you for making this event as low waste as possible!
