Parktacular Kick Off Dinner and Senior Ambassador Coronation: 5:00 pm

This event will be located at the new Westwood Hills Nature Center. Details about the schedule and menu will be updated shortly.

Thursday, June 18

Splash into Summer at the Aquatic Park: 5 pm to 8 pm
Splash into Summer with Free Admission to the St. Louis Park Aquatic Park. A perfect kick off to the festivities in nearby Wolfe Park all weekend long. Enter the drawing to win a FREE Unlimited  Inflatables Ride Wristband to use on Saturday, June 15th.  SLP Aquatic Park at Rec Center

Friday, June 19

Rock the ROC with Flash Mob!: 5:30 pm - 10 pm

Rock the ROC 2020 will ROCK the SLP Recreation Outdoor Center (ROC) which will be all decked out for summer, located just west of the Rec Center. We are excited to have Flash Mob! provide the music.  Grab your friends and join the most rockin’ party in town. Round out the party with something from a food truck and alcoholic beverages for purchase for those 21+ with ID from SLP’s American Legion.  Gates open at 5:30 for food and beverages including 21+ beverages (with ID).  R Factor takes the stage at 6:30. Sponsored by SLP American Legion and City of St. Louis Park

To gain admittance, your button must be PROMINENTLY DISPLAYED on your person, and must remain so during the event. No alcohol is permitted beyond our fenced areas.

Saturday, June 20

Tommy's Fishing Clinic for Kids: 10 am – 2 pm
Tommy  was taught the fine art of panfishing by his Chickasaw Grandmother in the backwoods of Oklahoma. He’s fished from the reservoirs and rivers of Nowhere Nevada to the Umpqua of the Northern Pacific, to the Paradise of 10,000 Lakes. With 14 distinct species and a thousand verifiable catches, join SLPs resident “Atomic Tommy”, and learn the basic as well as pro fishing tips. Rods and reels provided for clinic. Afterwards, fishing for kids and families all day in our stocked pond, until 6 pm. Bring your own rod and reel! Note that anglers 16 and older must be licensed. Wolfe Park Pond

Take a stroll through Wolfe Park and see what St. Louis Park has to offer! Grab a bag to gather all the information and freebies as over 60 booths line the sidewalks of Wolfe Park, promoting their business or cause. The Grand Day Parade sets the stage for the rest of the day’s activities, and is always one of our most well attended events. Get there early to get a front row seat.

Memorial Blood Center Blood Drive: 12 pm - 4 pm

Whether you donate every year, or you are a first timer, it’s easy to give back to those in need with your blood donation at Parktacular. Look for a sign up for a Time to Donate soon. Or sign up that day at their table. They love walk ins! Just look for the big BloodMobile in the bus lane of the Rec Center! Wolfe Park

HealthPartners & Park Nicollet Health Fair: 2 pm - 6 pm

HealthPartners and Park Nicollet are making good happen at the Health Fair at Parktacular! Be sure to stop by to learn about eating better and moving more. There will be an interactive experience with our Sportsology exhibit where kids and families can learn about concussions  or compare their wing span to a basketball player. They will also have cool giveaways and a chance to win Science Museum tickets.

Free Kayak/Canoe Rides: 2 pm - 6 pm
KayaksCanoesSplash into summer with a family kayak or canoe ride at Wolfe Park. Hoigaard’s supplies everything for a safe ride, so you can sit back and enjoy. Sponsored by Hoigaard’s Pond at Wolfe Park

Kidtacular Family and Kids Activities: 2 pm - 6 pm
Family fun for kids of all ages featuring interactive events and activities, St. Louis Park police and fire, face-painting, balloon animals and much, much more.  Sponsored by Nordic Ware Kidtacular area, West side of Wolfe Park

Fantasy Corral Pony Rides and Petting Zoo: 2 pm - 6 pm

All Age All Ages Inflatables and Activities: 10 am - 6 pm

Join us for a FUN wild time at Parktacular! Purchase an unlimited ride wristband for just $12 and enjoy inflatable attractions all day. Test your skills with the Obstacle course, plus inflatables and bouncy houses for the little ones.  All ages welcome, parents welcome! $12 unlimited wristband or $2 per ride. Mini Art Hunt Awards: 4 pm- 5 pm

The Mini Art Hunt starts June 1, with families heading out in search of mini 1.5″ by 1.5″ art, like that shown, within any of the 36 St. Louis Park parks.  The theme this year, is ANIMALS. Starting on June 1st, daily clues will be posted here.  Finders of the hidden art are awarded at this event at Parktacular.   Learn about the fun happening all summer with SLP FoTA.  Thanks to artist William Hessian.

FREE Concert Saturday evening featuring The Castaways in the Wolfe Park Amphitheater: 6 to 9 pm

We are bringing the Saturday night concert back to the Amphitheater. The Castaways will be providing the music and the food trucks will stick around to provide food for dinner. They have been providing family friendly music for many years.
