We will have a variety of events over these days including Splash into Summer pool event Friday night. On Saturday we will have our Grand Day Parade, Expo, Kidtacular, Ecotacular and a concert all in Wolfe Park. On Sunday we will celebrate Juneteenth. The Ambassador Coronation will be on Thursday, June 18.

The signature event of Parktacular is the Grand Day Parade. The parade became a staple of summer in St. Louis Park even before the celebration was named Parktacular. Year after year, curbs are covered with blankets and boulevards are lined with chairs to watch. Please be socially distant as you decide where to watch this year. The Grand Day Parade takes place rain or shine and is one of Parktacular’s most popular events.

Kidtacular will have lots of things for kids of all ages to do. There will be a petting zoo, juggling demonstrations, a fishing clinic, music and much more!
Tommy was taught the fine art of panfishing by his Chickasaw Grandmother in the backwoods of Oklahoma. He’s fished from the reservoirs and rivers of Nowhere Nevada to the Umpqua of the Northern Pacific, to the Paradise of 10,000 Lakes. With 14 distinct species and a thousand verifiable catches, join SLP’s resident “Atomic Tommy”, and learn the basic as well as pro fishing tips. Rods and reels provided for school. Afterwards, fishing for kids and families all day in our stocked pond, until 6 pm. Bring your own rod and reel! Note that anglers 16 and older must be licensed.
Food trucks will be in the park throughout the afternoon and evening serving tasty items. Trucks include: Taco Libre, Parrillas Express, The Wienie Wagon and Soft Serve Ice Cream.
Ecotacular is back in 2025! Come visit Wolfe Park to enjoy environmentally-friendly activities and demonstrations for the whole family!
Summer is made for live outdoor music!
We’re thrilled to announce that Lipstick-N-Dynamite will take the stage for Parktacular’s Rock the Park concert in Wolfe Park. The event is free and gates will open at 5:30 for the 6 p.m. show. Bring a blanket and get ready for an energetic mix of hits that will have the whole family dancing.
The 17th Annual Miniature Art Hunt begins Sunday, June 1st. This year’s theme is SECRET for now.
